Casa is a one-stop-shop, taking you through site feasibility, design selections, contracts, and permits, through to construction and final hand off.

Specifications

Casa-One is built using an Australian-made prefabricated structural steel system, poured reinforced concrete slab, Colorbond® steel roofing, Australian Weathertex® timber cladding, and double-glazed windows and doors throughout. All materials are selected for durability, thermal performance, and low maintenance in WA conditions.

Warranty

All Casa homes are delivered under standard HIA building contracts and constructed by licensed, insured builders. Every build meets all required Western Australian construction codes, with full statutory warranties plus manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, and appliances.

Locations

Casa currently builds across the Perth metropolitan area. Expansion into regional Western Australia is planned later this year, subject to builder availability and local approvals.

Casa-One is a right-sized, architecturally considered one-bedroom home designed to sit comfortably in the Australian backyard

At approximately 55 sqm, Casa-One balances efficiency and comfort through a highly refined layout. A generous open-plan living, kitchen and dining space forms the heart of the home, complemented by a full-size bedroom, a considered bathroom, a hidden laundry, and integrated storage throughout. Every square metre is purposeful, light-filled and easy to live in.

Materially, Casa-One is built for longevity and low maintenance. Bluescope Truecore® steel framing, vertical weatherboard cladding, Colorbond® metal roofing, high-performance insulation and double-glazed openings are paired with warm, tactile interior finishes. The result is a home that feels calm, robust and unmistakably livable, not temporary.

What are the ceiling heights throughout the home?

Casa homes feature premium ceiling heights, with 2700 mm ceilings throughout living areas and bedrooms, and 2400 mm ceilings in wet areas. The increased height in key spaces creates a more open, comfortable feel that’s rare in small-scale homes.

What is the total length and width of my Casa One?

The Casa One has length and width measurements of 11.0m x 5.0m respectively.

Can the floorplan be flipped or mirrored on my block?

Yes. The floorplan can be mirrored to suit different site orientations, access points, and boundary conditions. This allows the home to respond better to sunlight, privacy, and how it sits within your backyard.

Can the layout be adapted to suit my needs?

The core layout (wall placement) is fixed for efficiency and compliance, but internal spaces can be customised. Storage, wardrobes, workstations, and joinery layouts can be adjusted to suit how the home will be lived in, whether that’s for family, guests, or rental use.

Can I make my Casa-One ADA compliant?

Yes, we can work with you to convert parts of the Casa-One to be fully accessible.

Do I need a permit to build a casa home?

Yes, you will still need a permit to build your casa-one or casa-two home, although you will not need planning approval, a longer, more cumbersome process. At casa we handle all permitting and approvals for you. Simple!

Are casa homes modular, prefab, or something else?

Casa homes use a hybrid building approach. Key structural elements, such as the steel frame and roof trusses, are precision-fabricated off-site for accuracy and speed, while the concrete slab, roofing, cladding, and interiors are built on-site using proven, traditional construction methods. This approach delivers the quality and flexibility of a custom home, with the efficiency and predictability of prefabrication, without the compromises and transport issues of fully modular builds

What warranty do I get with my casa home?

Your CASA home is built under a standard Housing Industry Association (HIA) building contract, providing the same statutory warranties as any quality residential build in Western Australia. All works are completed by licensed and insured builders, in accordance with WA construction codes and regulations, and include applicable structural, workmanship, and manufacturer warranties on materials and appliances.

How long does it take to build a Casa-One?

Once permits are approved, construction typically takes around six months. Permitting itself usually takes approximately four weeks, provided all required documentation is available and ready to submit.

How much does a Casa-One cost, and what’s included?

Casa-One pricing is fully transparent and shown live in our online designer. The base price starts from $235,000, which includes our full standard specification. Your final price is the total shown in the platform, plus any site-specific requirements unique to your land that fall outside our standard land types (ie: steep sloping land)
